I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Wayne Hatami, I am the owner of NY SPINE PHYSICAL THERAPY, PC. I am a native New Yorker, however, my physical therapy training was completed in Holland.
Since graduating in 1997, I have brought and maintained a "hands on" approach while treating each patient. Your individual needs, health, and well being is first priority at NY Spine Physical Therapy.
Presently, NY Spine operates out of four locations, Patchogue, Great Neck, Mineola, and Whitestone. Each facility is equipped with state of the art rehabilitation equipment. Our newest addition is NY SPINE'S BALANCE CENTER located adjacent to our Whitestone location, offering the ALTER G anti-gravity treadmill.
Our offices participate in most insurances plans including, but not limited to, most Major Medical, Medicare, No-Fault and Workers Compensation. I look forward to meeting with you!

Yaniv Raich graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Touro College in Bay Shore, New York in 2008. He pursued his career specializing in manual therapy and utilizing osteopathic principles to rehabilitate injuries. This hands-on approach has been the focus of his skills and can be applied to a wide variety of orthopedic and neuromuscular injuries. Hello my name is Shachi Mehta and I have been working as a PTA for 6 years. I graduated from Stony Brook University with BS in Athletic Training in 2005. Realizing I wanted to work with the general population and not just with athletes, I went back to school and graduated with honors from Touro College in 2008. Previously I have worked for a neck/back speciality for 5 1/2 years and have joined NY Spine family in May 2014. I am genuinely passionate about helping people and continue to strive to be a better therapist.
My name is Christina Rando, I am currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy, working as the Director of our Great Neck facility. I graduated from New York Institute of Technology with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Life Science in 2009, and continued on for my Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy graduating in 2011. During my studies, I have found a love for manual therapy and exercise, giving me a strong background in various manual techniques and orthopedics. Throughout my studies, I also completed research on the effects on muscular strength and muscle fiber utilization with exercise. I also am a certified Personal Trainer, further leading me to specialize in exercise.
Currently, I work as a Physical Therapist at Franklin Hospital, seeing patients postoperative with various orthopedic surgeries, as well as general acute rehabilitation. I have always enjoyed helping people, encouraging them for a better life style change, and healing them. My goal is to provide the best experience for my patients. I have great joy in putting a smile on my patients face.
Hi, My name is Keith Kroll, I am a PTA who graduated from Penn State in 2007 . I have worked at NY SPINE since 2008. Over the past years i have truly enjoyed the experience of working on patients in such a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. In my free time I enjoy anything to do with health, fitness and furthering my future as a practitioner.
My name is Marios Haritos and I have worked for NY Spine over the past ten years. I was first introduced to physical therapy upon receiving treatment here when I was a high school student in Holy Cross High School. I then graduated from New York Institute of Technology, receiving my Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in 2013. Presently I direct our recently opened Balance and Fall Prevention Center located next door to our Queens facility in Whitestone, NY.
I developed an interest in balance and fall prevention rehabilitation following my participation in a research study performed during my graduate level studies looking at the effect of exercising on Parkinson's disease, specifically cycling. Integrating foundational concepts with recently developed anti-gravity treadmill training, I am able to provide an opportunity to individuals who suffer from a loss of balance to take their next step and defy gravity to improve their gait imbalances.
I also work select hours in our Whitestone location where I apply my passion for manual therapy and exercise-oriented rehabilitation in orthopedics and neuromuscular diagnoses. I have enjoyed my transition over the years as a patient, volunteer, and aid to a Doctor of Physical Therapy while working along side Wayne Hatami and the staff of NY Spine. I am fluent in the Greek language where I am able to extend our services to the Greek population. My goal is to provide a unique experience to my patients where exercise is prescribed to return balance for an overall active and healthy lifestyle.
