WAYNE HATAMI
Owner / Physical Therapist

I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Wayne Hatami, I am the owner of NY SPINE PHYSICAL THERAPY, PC. I am a native New Yorker, however, my physical therapy training was completed in Holland.

Since graduating in 1997, I have brought and maintained a "hands on" approach while treating each patient. Your individual needs, health, and well being is first priority at NY Spine Physical Therapy.

Presently, NY Spine operates out of four locations, Patchogue, Great Neck, Mineola, and Whitestone. Each facility is equipped with state of the art rehabilitation equipment. Our newest addition is NY SPINE'S BALANCE CENTER located adjacent to our Whitestone location, offering the ALTER G anti-gravity treadmill.

Our offices participate in most insurances plans including, but not limited to, most Major Medical, Medicare, No-Fault and Workers Compensation. I look forward to meeting with you!

Physical Therapy Assistant

Hello my name is Shachi Mehta and I have been working as a PTA for 6 years. I graduated from Stony Brook University with BS in Athletic Training in 2005. Realizing I wanted to work with the general population and not just with athletes, I went back to school and graduated with honors from Touro College in 2008. Previously I have worked for a neck/back speciality for 5 1/2 years and have joined NY Spine family in May 2014. I am genuinely passionate about helping people and continue to strive to be a better therapist.
